Is QuillBase really a Confluence alternative?
Yes — it covers the core of what teams use Confluence for: spaces, a nested page tree, a rich block editor, templates, granular permissions, full-text search, and real-time whiteboards. And it imports your existing Confluence Cloud content so you don’t start from zero.
How does the Confluence import work?
You connect with a Confluence Cloud API token (read-only — your Confluence is never modified), pick the spaces to bring over, and everything lands in a review queue. You decide what gets published; page hierarchy and structure are preserved.
